Like many people I'm growing increasingly wary of "The Stacks" growing influence, Google being one of them.

Recently I decided trying out Duckduckgo which has as its basic ideals it doesn't track you. That's nice, but it cant be as good as Google, can it?

Turns out its amazingly good, and so far I'm not missing Google a single bit, which is amazing. I'm using Duckduckgo as my default search engine now, and I'm thinking, if Duckduckgo is this good without all the spying, Google isn't very efficient then.

Duckduckgo also has convenient features, like !w and !allabolag.

These are macros that you put in the search, to jump to another search engine. That is neat.
